I would be very interested to know which book version our readers will be using. I’ll be holding the 1991 centenary edition.

It's been probably 20 years since I read them. I'm planning to let Andy Serkis read them to me this time on a cross country trip via audible. I'm hoping the drive will fly by.

Man I’m so in! I just started Concerning Hobbits with my 6 and 4 year old a few weeks ago. Don’t worry we won’t be too far out in front by the time 22 September rolls around. With their attention spans we make it through about two paragraphs a night!

I've dabbled in listening to the audio book but think reading it hard copy will be better. Looking forward to reading it with you in September! I've always wanted to actually appreciate the books rather than only the movies so this is a good opportunity ✨👏🏻

I know some people are doing both! I listen to audiobooks occasionally but usually reading a hard copy works best for me personally. I'm thrilled to have you join us, Kym!

Things I wish I knew before my first read through! I’ll have to do a more chill read too, because one semester in college we did all the LOTR books in 6 weeks and someone was checking my homework 😅

Whew, that's intense! I promise a grade-free experience. Unlike the Balrog in Moria, everyone shall pass here!
